UNIES as associated institute of Katowice School of Economics runs first-cycle and second-cycle study programmes as well as one-tier studies and postgraduate studies in accordance with the authorisations granted by the Polish Minister of Science and Higher Education.

Katowice School of Economics (GWSH Górnośląska Wyższa Szkoła Handlowa), with its seat in Harcerzy Września Street no. 3, 40-659 Katowice, entered to the Register of non-public Universities and Associations of non-public Universities, run by the Minister of Science and Higher Education, under the following no. 36

Katowice School of Economics states that it is a non-public university having right to grant scientific title of “doctor” and “doktor habilitowany” in the management discipline, entered to the register run by the Minister of Science and Higher Education under the number 36.
Furthermore accreditation and individual official recognition of University’s Degrees exists, e.g., in Germany, Austria, Czech Republic and other european countries.  

The Germany’s so-called "Ständige Konferenz der Kultusminister" has registered Katowice School of Economics in the list (Anabin) of recognized international universities.

The University Institute for International and European Studies with the legal status as an European Economics Interest Group is an independent, self-governing non-profit foundation with “tax-exempt status” (Belastingdienst Limburg/Kantor Heerlen) and legally entitled to operate under statutory power as a private institution of higher education (particuliere onderwijsinstelling) in the Netherlands, and is duly registered at the Chamber of Commerce of the Province of Limburg - KvK Nr.: 68822022. | Copyright 2017.
